Love these headphones! You can use them without the noise cancelling on and they provide rich sound. Turn on the noise cancelling and outside noises vanish and the lower tones lessen making it more conducive to relaxation. Using the headphones without them being connected and with noise cancelling on makes for a nearly noise-free experience.
